Description
The Noé bucket bag was originally designed in 1932. A Champagne producer asked Gaston-Louis Vuitton to develop a sturdy, stylish bag in which he could transport five bottles of bubbly. The Petit Noé is a compact version, made in the iconic Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas and retains key features of the original – the iconic shape, generous capacity, drawstring closure – but is made for modern life. The leather strap adjusts for comfortable shoulder or cross-body wear.
This bag is in good vintage condition, please view all photos before buying. There is some wear to the top edge of the binding and the drawstring has been replaced by us. The drawstring is often the first part to wear out on the Noé bags, so a fresh one will last for many years to come, the colour will darken over time to match the tan leather. The lining inside is in very good condition, rare for a bag of this age. From the serial number we can tell that this bag was Made in France in 1992.
