The cutest vintage black leather Gucci bucket bag with the iconic Gucci bamboo handles plus a leather crossbody strap. The crossbody strap can be taken off if you wish. This bag features gold Gucci branded hardware and gold feet on the base to protect the bag. Inside the lining is in excellent condition with a zipped interior pocket for valuables. The crossbody strap drop is 40cm.
Gucci first introduced the bamboo handle in 1947 following a leather shortage as a result of the war, forcing craftspeople to experiment and look for new materials. The bamboo handles are extremely durable and a classic now for the house.
This bag is in very good vintage condition, there is some minor creasing to the leather and a small mark on the base. Inside the bag is immaculate, it hardly has been used.
