For sale is a vintage, GUCCI, 1960’s, beige of nude colored, buttery soft leather & two-tone hardware shoulder purse with an envelope snap locking top, two, thinner joined straps, in a unique shape with an expendable pleated bucket style bottom! This bag is a unique take on a classic shoulder purse that will never go out of style!
It has two thinner straps that are attached in a couple of spots and an envelope top that snaps and locks to close, in a unique shape with a pleated, expandable bottom. The snap closure on the outside is a chunky, oval shaped, two-tone GG logo accent. The bag is made of a buttery soft, beige or nude colored leather, so it has some shallow scratches that should come out with polishing.
This purse predates serial numbers and has a gold embossed stamp with the Gucci shield. It has also been authenticated by a third party source, so buy with confidence! It has a matching leather lining that has not started the peeling process to reveal the suede like felt lining below and is extremely clean! Inside, it has a zip close pocket with the shield fob and a slot pocket in the front. It has a classic look that will never go out of style! I have similar purses from the same early Gucci line listed in dark brown and camel leather, too.
