Description
The Noé bucket bag was originally designed in 1932. A Champagne producer asked Gaston-Louis Vuitton to develop a sturdy, stylish bag in which he could transport five bottles of bubbly. The Petit Noé is a compact version and retains key features of the original – the iconic shape, generous capacity, drawstring closure – but is made for modern life.
The leather strap adjusts for comfortable shoulder or cross-body wear. The strap drop is 26-32cm.
The idea of Epi leather was first born in 1920 when Georges Vuitton and his son Gaston-Louis had the idea to print a design on more resistant fabric. Sophisticated, robust, and scratch-resistant, Epi leather is a grained leather printed in two batches that allows for a difference in colour between the deeper layer and the surface layer. Its texture is made to look like moving fields of wheat under the sun.
